Claims Handler

GB Retail Claims is a key part of the Corporate Risk and Broking Business Unit at Willis Towers Watson. The team is comprised of colleagues in the UK and India who work closely with other areas of the business to deliver exceptional client service. As a member of this team, you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of claims, including Employers Liability, Public Liability, Personal Injury, Property, Disease, and Traditional Motor claims.
The Role
- Manage a portfolio of low value claims, utilizing your expertise in insurance industry claims handling to deliver efficient and effective resolutions.
- Develop a deep understanding of the insurance industry and its complexities, ensuring that you are well-equipped to handle a wide range of claims.
- Take ownership of your work, working collaboratively with the team to monitor key client outcomes and take proactive steps to deliver pre-defined service standards.
- Ensure compliance with all aspects of Willis Towers Watson's financial processes, adhering to reserving processes within given authority.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to day-to-day client queries in a timely and professional manner.
- Understand and comply with the audit process, ensuring that all necessary documentation is maintained.
- Contribute to the Continuous Improvement Forum, sharing your expertise and ideas to drive positive change within the team.
The Requirements
- A minimum of GCSEs in Maths and English at Level 4 and above.
- Experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients.
- Strong organizational abilities and flexibility to work in a performance-driven environment, managing multiple deliverables.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong experience with applicant tracking systems.
