Job Title: Chair - St Paul's Carnival CIC
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to take on the role of Chair for St Paul's Carnival CIC. As a key leadership position, the Chair will provide strategic guidance, governance oversight, and advocacy for the organization's mission, vision, and values.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Board: Set the strategic direction and long-term goals of the organization, in alignment with their mission to support and promote artists and cultural expression.
- Foster a Culture of Innovation: Encourage a culture of innovation, inclusion, and excellence throughout the organization.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work with fellow Board members, staff, and stakeholders to develop and implement strategic initiatives that advance the organization's objectives.
Requirements:
- Proven Leadership Experience: A strong understanding of governance principles and best practices, with a proven track record of effective leadership and collaboration.
- Strategic Vision: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and consensus-building skills, with the ability to think creatively and analytically.
- Experience Working with Diverse Stakeholders: A proven ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders and communities, with a strong understanding of the current climate in the cultural sector.
