Berkshire Healthcare Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Children and Young People's Wellbeing Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our mental health services, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, evidence-based interventions to children and young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health issues.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver evidence-based interventions for children and young people with mild to moderate mental health problems.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, schools, and other stakeholders to identify and address mental health needs.
- Develop and provide training and workshops for professionals, parents, and carers on mental health and wellbeing.
- Actively promote the whole-system approach to developing and maintaining emotional health and wellbeing within and across services.
- Qualified or about to qualify as a Children's Wellbeing Practitioner.
- Experience of delivering low-intensity evidence-based interventions to children and young people.
- Knowledge of common mental health issues experienced by children and young people and how they may present.
- Understanding of the importance of increasing access to evidence-based mental health care for children and young people and their families.
