IT Service Desk Manager Opportunity

Vallum Associates is seeking an experienced IT Service Desk Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our IT Service Desk. This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of IT services to our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Service Desk Performance: Continuously monitor and improve service desk performance through proactive oversight and automation.
  • Incident and Request Fulfillment: Ensure timely and effective resolution of incidents and requests.
  • Identify and Access Management: Manage user access and identify potential security risks.
  • Asset Tracking: Oversee the tracking and management of IT assets.
  • Licence Management: Ensure compliance with software licensing agreements.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Documentation Management: Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation.
  • Supplier Management: Manage relationships with external suppliers.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage a team of IT support staff.
  • Resource Management: Ensure effective allocation of resources.
Requirements:
  • Proven Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of Windows 11, Office, Azure, and other relevant technologies.
  • Leadership Experience: Previous management experience is essential.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
