About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at Dorset Healthcare University NHS. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centered care and support to patients, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to deliver effective care plans and interventions.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and clean environment, adhering to infection control and health and safety protocols.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and colleagues, promoting a culture of respect and empathy.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • NVQ Level III in Healthcare or willingness to work towards achieving this.
  • Demonstrable skills in both written and spoken English.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly and as part of a team.
