Job Title: Finance Business Partner

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Business Partner to join our team at MBDA Missile Systems. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for providing financial guidance and support to our project teams, ensuring the effective management of financial resources and the achievement of business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in achieving and managing performance indicators for assigned contracts, providing regular updates on progress and projected outcomes, highlighting potential risks and opportunities.
  • Support and manage the preparation of multi-year business plans and annual budgets for your contracts.
  • Ensure that relevant project staff are clear of their financial objectives.
  • Financial management of long-term contracts, including bi-annual Estimate at Completion preparation, revenue and margin trading, intercompany trading, cash and FX management, customer reporting/interfacing.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or QBE
  • Proven experience of building strong and productive working relationships within multi-discipline and multinational teams
  • Experience in long-term contract financial management
  • Knowledge and experience of Finance IT tools: MS Excel (required), SAP R/3, SAP BW (desirable)
