We're seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Beer Adventurer to join our team at Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. As a key member of our Guest Experience department, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional experiences to our guests, showcasing our brewery's history, culture, and commitment to sustainability.
Key Responsibilities- Provide engaging and informative tours of our brewery, highlighting our history, brewing process, and sustainability practices.
- Beertend in our Tasting Room, providing exceptional customer service and guided beer tastings.
- Support administrative tasks, including tour desk operations, phone and email responses, and general lobby maintenance.
- Assist with retail and gift store sales, merchandising, and First Impression Team support.
- Maintain accurate tour records and provide feedback to improve our guest experience.
- Prior customer service experience and direct or experiential marketing experience are preferred.
- Ability to learn and retain detailed information about our brewery and beer styles.
- Passion for craft beer and ability to taste, describe, and evaluate beer qualities.
- Ability to obtain a California Food Handler Card and TIPS alcohol awareness certification.
- Effective time management, people skills, and excellent communication and reasoning skills.
