Production Operative

**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled Production Operative to join our team at Marmion's Harrogate site. As a key member of our FMCG manufacturing team, you will be responsible for operating various machinery, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring production targets are met in a safe and efficient manner.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Operate various machinery and ensure consistent and accurate production.
* Follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
* Complete routine maintenance on machinery to prevent breakdowns.
* Monitor product quality throughout the production process.
* Complete regular equipment inspections and report any issues or malfunctions.
* Ensure high standards of safety and hygiene throughout the facility.
* Complete machine changeovers in an efficient and safe manner.
**Requirements:**
* Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
* A health and safety focused individual with an understanding of food safety regulations.
* Understanding of HACCP principles would be beneficial.
* Excellent communication skills; confident both verbally and written.
* Strong mechanical ability; able to operate and troubleshoot production equipment.
* A Forklift Licence would be extremely advantageous - Additional bonus offered for FLT operators.
* Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.
