Job Overview

Kintec Global Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Control Systems Specialist to join our team in the UK.

This permanent position comes with an estimated salary of £60,000 plus generous bonus, pension, and holidays.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in control engineering, particularly within the power generation industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To plan, coordinate, and deliver outage and routine maintenance activities for C&I plant & apparatus.
  • Develop and implement the maintenance strategy for C&I plant & apparatus, including support contracts and technical capabilities.
  • Provide technical support to all sites within the C&I area of expertise.
  • Manage support contracts, supervise contract resources, and ensure compliance with statutory and company requirements.
  • Review and update strategic and critical spares holding, develop long-term strategies, and audit stock levels.
  • Carry out project management duties for C&I and multi-disciplinary projects as required.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Control Engineering or Electrical/Electronic degree, or HNC with considerable industry experience.
  • Significant experience in control engineering, particularly within the power generation industry.
  • Ability to manage large projects and work within multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Solid understanding of new developments and best practices in C&I engineering.
  • Business financial awareness and experience managing budgets.
