Assistant Branch Manager

About the Role:
The Assistant Branch Manager is a challenging yet rewarding position in our business, where you will support your Branch Manager and play a vital role in our continued success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Branch Manager in managing all aspects of a Branch and business, including sales, operations, and customer service.
- Coach a team to deliver the highest standards of service and ensure that all colleagues and customers leave the Branch safely.
- Nurture great relationships with customers, understanding their needs and offering expert advice to recommend alternatives and maximise sales.
- Support the Branch Manager in managing commercial aspects of the Branch, including budgeting and forecasting.
Requirements:
- Previous experience within a builders' merchant or a similar industry is advantageous, but not essential.
- Transferable skills of Inspirational Leadership, Operational Management, Sales, Great Customer Service, and Commercial Acumen are required.
- Ability to delegate successfully and empower colleagues to take accountability and lead areas of the branch.
- Highly adaptable, resilient, and tenacious with high levels of energy and drive.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
