Company Overview

Our client is a fast-up-and-coming Build Partner specialising in telecom infrastructure. We are looking for a skilled SHEQ Manager to join their growing business.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to work across large scale telecoms contracts, managing SHEQ processes across multiple sites. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, with the ability to hold employees accountable for QHSE breaches, as well as effective organisation, planning, and problem-solving abilities.

In this role, you will oversee trainee needs, implement comprehensive training programmes, and manage accreditation and onboarding to develop a skilled, compliant workforce. You will also provide regular progress and SHEQ reports to senior management while maintaining excellent internal and external communication.

Responsibilities
  1. Support management in maintaining high safety and compliance standards, addressing non-compliances, and resolving related customer complaints.
  2. Develop, implement, and oversee SHEQ procedures, and budget plans, focusing on continuous improvement and waste reduction.
  3. Evaluate and recommend key investments in training infrastructure and new talent to support organisational growth.
  4. Delegate responsibilities effectively, motivate staff, and recommend investments to improve training infrastructure and workforce capability.
Requirements
  1. Strong leadership, people management, and motivational skills, with the ability to hold employees accountable for QHSE breaches.
  2. Effective organisation, planning, and problem-solving abilities, with a detail-oriented and responsible approach.
  3. Skilled in risk identification and control, accident investigation, and reporting to HSE reportable event level.
  4. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with proven experience in a SHEQ managerial role.
What We Offer
  1. Estimated salary: £60,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience.
