Shift Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of equipment and machinery.
  • Respond to breakdowns in a proactive and timely manner to minimize downtime.
  • Utilize strong attention to detail and analytical skills to identify and resolve issues.
  • Operate and maintain Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
  • Service and repair equipment on site, adhering to Health and Safety guidelines.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • NVQ/BTEC/C&G Level 3 Multi Skilled Engineer qualification.
  • Strong understanding of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
  • Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
  • Proficient in computer-aided design (CAD) software.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Confidently work at height, with full training provided.
