We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our team at Greenwell Gleeson Ltd.
Key Responsibilities:- Email and Post Management: Ensure efficient and prompt handling of general accounts email inboxes and external post.
- Purchase Ledger Management: Post purchases invoices onto account systems, ensuring correct approval according to the Authority Matrix.
- Query Resolution: Resolve purchase ledger queries and supplier statement reconciliations.
- Supplier Payments: Create periodic proposed supplier payment lists and allocate payments to supplier ledgers.
- Sales Ledger Management: Post receipts and allocations to customer accounts.
- Credit Control: Chase debt from UK and international customers, and assist in resolving queries delaying customer payments.
- Reporting and Meetings: Provide weekly aged debt reporting and attend debtor meetings between sales and finance.
- Online Banking: Create supplier and other payments onto online banking portals.
- Bank and Cash Reconciliation: Support with bank and cash reconciliation.
- Month End Routines: Support with month end routines.
