Job Title: Marketing Assistant - Digital

At Digitalab Ltd, we are seeking a talented Marketing Assistant to join our team. As a Marketing Assistant, you will play a vital role in the execution of our digital marketing strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and execute daily social media postings across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter, following the strategic marketing activity calendar.
  • Assist in the aforementioned social media calendar with content planning and maintaining an outbound on-brand activity in a timely and consistent manner.
  • Monitor social media trends and emerging platforms, making suggestions for new strategies or content formats.
  • Track and report social media performance metrics, analysing engagement and reach to inform future campaigns.
Content Creation & Design Support:
  • Assist in creating visual and multimedia content (images, graphics, videos) for social media, website, and digital marketing campaigns using Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
  • Support producing website assets, promotional banners, email templates, and other digital marketing materials.
  • Contribute to photography-related content, including image sourcing, basic editing, or preparation for digital campaigns, leveraging a keen understanding of the photography industry.
Website and Digital Content Support:
  • Assist with updating and maintaining the website by uploading new content.
  • Ensure digital content (including blog posts, product descriptions, and promotional offers) is optimised for SEO and remains fresh and engaging for the audience.
Marketing Strategy Implementation:
  • Work closely with the team to execute marketing campaigns, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and meet the strategic objectives.
  • Assist with gathering and organising customer feedback and testimonials for marketing purposes.

Requirements:

  • Adobe Creative Suite: Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign is preferable for creating and assisting in design projects.
  • Photography Background: An interest in or experience with photography would be beneficial, as many projects are rooted in the photographic industry.
  • Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic knowledge of website CMS systems (e.g., WordPress).
  • Training on Digitalab's platforms will be provided.
  • Familiarity with photography, photo editing software (e.g., Lightroom), or related creative fields.
  • SEO knowledge for optimising website content and improving digital presence.
  • Previous experience in a creative or digital marketing role, particularly within the photographic, arts or creative industry.
  • Self-motivated with a desire to learn and grow in the field of digital marketing.
  • Adaptable, flexible, and open to feedback, with a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
