About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physiotherapy Technician to join our Specialist Learning Disabilities Physiotherapy team. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with adults with learning disabilities, providing expert care and support to help them maintain their independence.

Main Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality physiotherapy services to adults with learning disabilities
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers on mobility and rehabilitation techniques
  • Contribute to the development of new programs and services to improve patient outcomes

Requirements

  • Multi-professional NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
  • Numeracy and Literacy skills to GCSE level or equivalent
  • Experience working with adults with learning disabilities
  • Knowledge of respiratory difficulties and moving and handling techniques
