HR Advisor – Creative Arts Studio – Gloucestershire – Permanent – c£40k + Benefits

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Advisor to join our team at AW Media Recruitment. As the first point of contact for HR-related queries, you will provide expert advice and guidance to both managers and employees, ensuring the smooth operation of our creative arts studio in Gloucestershire.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive excellence across all aspects of the HR function, from recruitment and employee relations to change management and training initiatives
  • Offer expert advice and pragmatic solutions on people management, balancing best practices with business needs
  • Oversee critical HR processes, including contract preparation, policy updates, and system management
  • Lead important employee meetings, from inductions to disciplinary proceedings, with professionalism and empathy
  • Spearhead continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness

Requirements:

  • In-depth, generalist knowledge of HR processes and a solid understanding of UK employment law
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with all levels of the organisation
  • Strong organisational abilities and adept time management to juggle multiple priorities
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems, analytics, and reporting to drive data-informed decisions
  • Experience crafting detailed HR policies and guidance notes
  • Adaptability and a proactive mindset to thrive in a dynamic, fast-moving environment
