About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Religious Studies Teacher to join our team at Prospero Teaching. As a Religious Studies Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering lessons to Key Stage 4 & Key Stage 5 students, teaching GCSE Religious Studies and contributing to the development of our department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality lessons to students, promoting academic excellence and spiritual growth.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans, incorporating a range of teaching methods and resources.
  • Assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver curriculum content, ensuring a cohesive and effective learning experience.
  • Contribute to the development of our department, sharing best practices and expertise.

Requirements:
  • Hold a BA and PGCE/QTS in Religious Studies.
  • Have UK classroom teaching experience, with a proven track record of success.
  • Be eligible to work in the UK and have a fully enhanced DBS on the online update service.
  • Be able to provide teaching Religious Studies for the last 2 years.
