Job Role - Religious Studies Teacher

Academic Overview

We are seeking an experienced, motivated Religious Studies Teacher to join our vibrant school. As a dedicated member of our academic team, you will be responsible for planning, teaching, and assessing Religious Studies to students in KS3 and KS4.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Religious Studies to students in KS3 and KS4.
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that promote student understanding and progress.
  • Assess student work and provide constructive feedback.
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of the Religious Studies department.

Requirements:

  • A valid teaching qualification, such as PGCE, QTS, or QTLS.
  • Previous experience teaching Religious Studies to KS3 and KS4.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • A current DBS check or willingness to apply for one.
  • Commitment to the safeguarding of children and young people.
