Job Title: Procurement Contracts Manager

Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Contracts Manager to join our team. As a key player in our Technology Procurement function, you will be responsible for driving maximum value out of our supplier relationships.

About the Role

The Technology Procurement function at Hays is a newly established function with an ambitious road-map, which will provide an exciting challenge to any prospective candidate. This opportunity offers a frontline role to support our Technology transformation efforts and will intervene across all Technology sub-categories.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to meet business objectives.
  • Manage and maintain complex contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential risks.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement procurement policies and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business or other management discipline, such as supply chain management.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in a Contracts Manager role in the Technology space.
  • Previous experience of building an SRM strategy, 'from scratch'.
  • Knowledge and use of contract lifecycle management tools.
  • Excellent analytical abilities with proficiency in data analysis and market research.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Excel.
