Agile Java Developers for Mobility Industry

Endeavour Recruitment Solutions is seeking a skilled Software Engineer with a focus on Java to join a global client specialised in the mobility industry based in the UK headquarters in Dorset.

The successful Software Engineer will work in a team of four to eight software engineers maintaining and developing our client's Back Office Systems.

Your responsibilities as a Software Engineer include:

  • Performing the role of Scrum Master in agile working environments
  • Preparing refinements and sprint planning
  • Writing software to implement design functionality
  • Writing test harnesses to test software unit functionality (unit tests)
  • Resolving technical issues arising during the project lifecycle and after release

A strong background in Java is required, particularly support of legacy stacks. Additional skills include REST, Microservices, NUnit, MSTest, knowledge of design patterns, SOA and SaaS, continuous integration environments such as Jenkins, Team Foundation Server, Jira and Confluence.

We estimate the salary for this position to be between £60,000 - £80,000 per annum depending on experience.
