  • We are seeking an experienced SEN Teacher to join our team at Options Autism School, a leading provider of education for neurodivergent young people and young adults.

This is an excellent opportunity for a creative and innovative SEN Teacher who is passionate about developing engaging learning opportunities for pupils with complex educational needs. Your role will be challenging and rewarding in equal measure, as you work in a school where safeguarding is paramount, and pupils are valued, respected, and involved in decision-making processes.

We are looking for a skilled SEN Teacher who is familiar with therapeutic approaches and has experience in teaching pupils with SEMH and Autistic Spectrum Disorders. You will have a calm and engaging demeanor, being resilient and adaptable in your teaching style. Prior experience in planning and delivering lessons using a range of strategies to cater for different learning styles would be beneficial.

A commitment to working collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to achieve positive outcomes for our pupils is essential. This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check and references.

About Us:

Options Autism School will cater for pupils aged 5 to 11 with complex educational needs, communication difficulties, and challenging behavior primarily with a diagnosis of ASD. The school will have capacity for 72 pupils and is due to open Easter 2025.
