About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Accountant to join our team at Agility Resourcing. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in the continued growth and success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Financial Leadership: Provide expert financial guidance and support to the management team, ensuring the effective management of financial resources and the achievement of financial objectives.
  2. Accounting and Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation and submission of financial reports, including year-end accounts and Corporation Tax computations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  3. Team Development: Train, coach, and mentor colleagues to enhance their skills and knowledge, promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
  4. Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control reviews of colleagues' work, ensuring high standards of accuracy and attention to detail.
  5. Statutory Compliance: Ensure timely submission of VAT, Payroll, Statutory Accounts, and Assessment Tax Returns, maintaining a high level of compliance with regulatory requirements.
  6. Financial Advice: Provide expert financial advice and guidance to colleagues and stakeholders, including bespoke accountancy, taxation, and tax planning advice.
Requirements
  1. Experience: Proven experience within an accountancy practice or a similar financial environment.
  2. Qualifications: Part-qualified/Qualified accountant (ACCA/AAT) or equivalent commercial experience.
