About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Civils Manager to join our client, a leading provider of electric vehicle charging points to businesses across the UK. The ideal candidate will have a heavy civils background, including highways experience, and a proven track record of overseeing multiple sites with site teams.
The role will involve coordinating subcontractors and suppliers, monitoring project progress, and conducting site inspections to ensure work quality and adherence to safety protocols. The successful candidate will also be responsible for resolving issues promptly and maintaining accurate documentation.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the civil engineering or construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, for liaising with various stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools is advantageous.
- SMSTS qualification is essential, with NRSWA being advantageous.
