We have been working with EDF, the French Electricity Producer, on several nuclear projects, including FA3 EPR in France, Taishan EPR in China, Hinkley Point C, and Sizewell C.

The Role

We are seeking a Contract Engineering Lead for Marshalling and Penetration to join our team in the UK.

As a Contract Engineering Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring the technical management of the supplier and supporting the Client in its contractual relationship with the supplier during the contract execution phase.

You will review supplier documents according to technical referential and coordinate the documentary review of the various contributors.

Depending on the workload required for the supplier document review, you might be supported by one or several technical leads to ensure coordination.

You will produce comment sheets via dedicated tools to the supplier and organise clarification with the supplier if needed.

You will manage modifications on the contracts to inform the supplier via CTS (Contract Transfer Sheet) sent to the Client via dedicated tools.

You will act as an entry point for all modifications, technical issues, or non-conformities coming from site activities.

You will ensure the management of risks, opportunities, open points, and modifications of your contract with the Client.

You will manage the interfaces with all client disciplines involved in providing the input data relevant to the marshalling and penetration contract.

You will manage the interfaces with all client disciplines using the instrumentation contract(s) detailed design as their inputs.

You will manage the interfaces in the qualification part performed by the client based in France.

You will follow up on all the Delivery To Site dates for the equipment.

Requirements
  • Knowledge or relevant experience in the nuclear industry.
  • Experience in an EPR project, operating plant, or on an industrial site.
  • Previous experience in Marshalling and Penetration technical reviews.
  • Knowledge of the electrical technical regulations and the technical reference system.
  • Knowledge of the quality processes involved in industrial projects in the nuclear field.
  • Ability to learn, prioritise, and manage numerous tasks.
  • French-speaking would be an advantage.
