We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Millbrook House Nursing Home in Southport. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, promoting their independence, dignity, and well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personal and practical care to residents, including assistance with daily living activities, personal care, and mobility.
- Work collaboratively with other staff members to maintain a safe and supportive environment for residents.
- Assist with meal times, safe moving, and maintaining accurate records for each resident.
- Be alert to residents' needs, health, and wellbeing, and report any concerns to senior staff.
- Respect residents' dignity and privacy, and work with them and their families to deliver tailored care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Committed to providing a high standard of care, promoting dignity and respect.
- Previous experience working in an elderly care setting, preferably in a nursing home environment.
- Ability to work well under pressure, be flexible, and meet the needs of residents and the Home.
- Minimum of a NVQ level 2 in health and social care, and a passion for providing exceptional care.
