">Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Care Assistant to join our team on a permanent contract, working days. This role offers the opportunity to provide exceptional levels of care to our residents and work within a compassionate and supportive environment.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and written skills, as well as previous experience as a senior care assistant, ideally in a care home setting. They must also hold NVQ3 or higher in Health & Social Care and be medication trained.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as washing, dressing, eating, and toileting
  • Liaise with GPs, healthcare professionals, and families
  • Manage the care team and ensure staff adhere to CQC guidelines
  • Provide handovers to night senior care assistants
  • Deliver exceptional levels of care to residents
  • Assist with medication, care plans, and risk assessments
  • Understand CQC regulations and DoLs
