About the Role

We are seeking a Behaviour Support Worker to work with children with a variety of SEN, including SEMH, ASD and ADHD. This role involves assisting children with their behaviour and helping them develop life skills. The position will involve outdoor activities and is not strictly classroom based.

About You

You don't necessarily need to have school-based experience, sports graduates, sports coaches, youth workers and care workers are also welcome to apply. We are looking for passionate individuals who have a desire for supporting children with challenging behaviour that may have experienced early life trauma.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist children with their behaviour and help them develop life skills
  • Work with children with a variety of SEN, including SEMH, ASD and ADHD
  • Involve outdoor activities and support children in developing their skills

Requirements

  • Hold a Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional references

Prospero Teaching is acting as an employment business in relation to this vacancy. The successful candidate will be required to register with Prospero Teaching in order to fill this vacancy. Ideally, you will already have a full DBS on the update service but if not, we can process a new one.
