About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Residential Support Worker to join our team at ROC Northwest. As a key member of our residential care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality support to children and young people with mental health conditions, such as Autism, Social, Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties, and complex needs associated with challenging behaviour.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support children in all aspects of daily living, including maintaining and developing relationships with friends and family, encouraging integration in the community, and safeguarding their well-being.
  • Undertake basic housekeeping duties when required, creating a safe and comfortable living environment.
  • Participate in activities such as watching movies, reading, taking walks, and engaging in games, promoting a fun and supportive atmosphere.
Requirements
  • A manual UK driving licence is required to use company vehicles.
  • Ability to work long day shifts, including sleep-ins from 10pm to 7am, with rotating shifts that may include weekends.
  • Desirable qualifications include a Children's Residential level 3 qualification, which would result in enhanced pay rates.
