Opportunity to Lead in Stroke Care

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Doctor to join our team at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust, providing exceptional stroke care and contributing to the development of our esteemed service.

About the Role:

  • This full-time position offers 10 programmed activities, ensuring a dynamic and engaging workload.
  • The successful candidate will work across various parts of the stroke service, collaborating with an experienced team of healthcare professionals.
  • You will be responsible for managing emergency and elective patients admitted under your care, leveraging your expertise to deliver high-quality treatment and support.

Programmed Activities:

We expect the appointed individual to dedicate time to the following tasks:

  • Emergency duties - predictable (2)
  • Emergency duties - unpredictable (1)
  • Operating sessions (including pre/post op)
  • Ward rounds (1)
  • Out-patient or other clinics (1)
  • Clinical Diagnostic Work
  • Other patient treatment / consultation
  • Multi-disciplinary meetings (1)
  • Patient administration (1)
  • Travelling time between sites
  • Supporting Professional Activities (SPAs)

Salary Information:

The estimated salary for this position is around £85,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience and location. As a valued member of our team, you will receive a competitive remuneration package that reflects your skills and dedication.
