Job Opportunity for an Optical Engineer

A leading recruitment agency, IC Resources, is seeking an experienced Optical Engineer to join their team in the development of innovative AR/VR headsets and automotive HUDs. This role offers a unique opportunity to design and test optical components with a focus on waveguides for the optical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop optical components, including waveguides, for AR/VR headsets and automotive HUDs.
  • Test and optimize optical systems to ensure high-quality performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate optical components into larger systems.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and test reports.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in optical engineering.

Requirements:

  • PhD in optical engineering or a related field.
  • Industry or research experience developing HUD products.
  • Experience in developing waveguides for optical systems.
  • Experience in free space optical systems.
  • Proficiency in design and simulation tools, such as Zemax and MATLAB.
  • Experience in lens design and diffractive optics is a plus.
