About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to join our Audit Quality Directorate (AQD) in an exciting period of growth and transformation. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our audit quality strategy and ensuring that we continue to deliver high-quality audits to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and execute audit and audit-related projects, including CASS, with a focus on the asset management and capital markets sector.
  • Develop and implement audit methodologies and best practices to drive quality and efficiency in our audit processes.
  • Collaborate with audit advisory directors and other stakeholders to identify and address technical issues and improve audit quality.
  • Provide training and coaching to peers and review audit files to ensure high-quality audit work.
  • Work closely with the methodology partner and other senior managers to develop and implement audit quality initiatives.
Requirements
  • ACA or similar professional accountancy qualification.
  • Significant current hands-on practical asset management and capital markets audit/CASS experience.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a small team, with a strong focus on initiative and problem-solving.
  • Wide-ranging practical experience regarding the application of ISAs and audit methodology, with experience in IT auditing techniques an added advantage.
  • High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Experience of training design, development, and delivery, with a focus on audit quality and methodology.
