At Goldman Sachs, we're seeking a skilled Internal Audit Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Internal Audit department, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness of our internal controls and risk management processes.

As an Internal Audit Specialist, you'll be responsible for assessing the reliability of our financial reports, monitoring our compliance with laws and regulations, and advising management on developing smart control solutions. You'll work closely with our global teams to cover all our businesses and functions, including securities, investment banking, consumer and investment management, risk management, finance, cyber-security and technology risk, and engineering.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Communicating and reporting on the effectiveness of our governance, risk management and controls that mitigate current and evolving risk
  • Raising awareness of control risk
  • Assessing our control culture and conduct risks
  • Monitoring management's implementation of control measures

Requirements include:

  • Internal audit, compliance, or quality assurance testing experience
  • Knowledge and expertise in auditing Anti-Money Laundering (BSA/AML), financial crime risks and corporate legal functions
  • Understanding of compliance program components, risk and control processes

As a team-oriented individual with a strong sense of ownership and accountability, you'll be able to work under minimal supervision on individual tasks or on team projects. You'll also have highly motivated analytical skills, willing and able to learn new business and system processes quickly.
