As an Internal Audit Specialist, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness of our internal controls and risk management processes.

About the Role

We're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Internal Audit team. As an Internal Audit Specialist, you'll be responsible for:

  • Assisting in the scoping and planning of reviews
  • Analyzing the design of controls around the underlying system architecture
  • Documenting the results of test steps executed within the IA automated document project repository
  • Assisting in vetting audit observations
  • Assisting in tracking, monitoring, and recording remediation of risks identified in reviews
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • 2-5 years of experience as a technology auditor covering IT application and general controls, application development, SQA, information security, technology consulting or other relevant industry experience
  • BE/B Tech/MCA/MBA/MSc or equivalent University degree in Information Technology
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Understanding of software development concepts and system architecture
  • Ability to review code (Java, C++, Python, etc.)
  • High level understanding of databases, operating systems, and messaging
  • Proficiency in data analysis using Excel or SQL
  • Basic understanding of Risk and Control environment and financial products
  • Experience with Data Analytics tools and techniques
  • Relevant certification or industry accreditation (e.g. CISA, CRISC, CISSP)
  • Knowledge of Financial Products and Services
  • Project Management skills
