Join EdEx as a Gifted and Talented Learning Assistant and play a vital role in supporting the academic success of students in Tower Hamlets Secondary School.

\

This challenging yet rewarding role requires a highly motivated individual with a strong academic background, a passion for teaching, and a desire to make a lasting impact on the lives of students.

As a Gifted and Talented Learning Assistant, you will be responsible for raising attainment, inspiring pupils, and facilitating a growth mindset in every pupil you work with. You will also contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture, promote EdEx's values and mission, and work closely with school leaders to develop and implement strategies to support student success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with school leaders to develop and implement strategies to support student success\
  • Facilitate a growth mindset in every pupil, encouraging them to strive for excellence\
  • Provide academic mentorship to students, helping them overcome challenges and achieve their goals\
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture\
  • Promote EdEx's values and mission throughout the school community\
  • Salary: £105-£120 per day, paid weekly (long-term contracts)\

  • Requirements:\
    • \
    • Degree from a Russell group university (1st Class or 2:1 Classification)\
    • Strong academic track record (A-Bs at A-Level etc.)\
    • Passion for teaching and inspiring young people\
    • Deep understanding of challenges faced by students from lower socioeconomic backgrounds\
    • Resilience, positivity, and a can-do attitude in the face of day-to-day challenges\
    • Friendly and approachable demeanor, with excellent communication skills\
    • Career ambitions aligned with EdEx's values and mission\\/ul>\
