Job Title: Consultant in Cellular Pathology

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant in Cellular Pathology to join our team at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. As a Consultant, you will be responsible for providing a timely and reliable pathology service in Cellular Pathology, specifically in the areas of thoracic and breast pathology, including screening programme specimens and cytology specimens.

About the Role:
In this role, you will:

* Provide a timely and reliable pathology service in Cellular Pathology
* Participate in the provision of the review service, which is part of the tertiary service activity
* Provide advice and support to other clinical colleagues
* Contribute to the audit and monitoring of the clinical effectiveness of medical care
* Participate in multidisciplinary clinical care and maintain a regular programme of surgical multidisciplinary team meetings

Person Specification:

* FRCPath or equivalent qualification
* Full and Specialist registration with the General Medical Council (GMC)
* Eligibility to work in the UK
* Up to date and fit to practice safely

Desirable Qualifications:

* Relevant higher degree
* Dedicated training time in specialist thoracic and breast pathology teams
