Company Overview

We are a dynamic and ambitious chartered accountancy practice based in Pinner, seeking an experienced senior accountant/account manager to join our expanding team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation of annual statutory accounts, managing tax compliance, and supervising junior accountants.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational, interpersonal, communication, and time management skills, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment. In return, we offer a competitive salary of up to £55,000, dependent on experience, as well as a wide range of progression opportunities, including hybrid working arrangements.

Job Description
  • Statutory Accounts: Prepare annual statutory accounts for a range of clients, ensuring timely submission and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Tax Returns: Manage and review personal tax returns, corporation tax returns, and VAT returns, providing expert advice and guidance to clients.
  • Junior Accountant Support: Provide guidance and supervision to junior staff in the preparation of accounts, audits, and tax returns, helping them to develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Client Relationship Building: Act as the main point of contact for a portfolio of clients, building and maintaining strong relationships through exceptional customer service and communication.
  • Tax Planning and Advisory Services: Provide expert tax planning and advisory services to clients, helping them to minimise their tax liability and achieve their financial goals.
  • Management Accounts: Prepare and review monthly and quarterly management accounts, providing insightful analysis and recommendations to clients.
  • Reporting: Prepare internal reports for senior management and partners regarding client progress, helping us to make informed decisions and drive business growth.
Requirements
  • ACA or ACCA qualified with 2 years post-experience is preferred. Or QBE is acceptable with a lot of experience in preparing and reviewing statutory accounts.
  • Able to commute and work in Pinner.
  • Excellent Organisational, Interpersonal, Communication, and Time Management skills.
  • No requirement for visa sponsorship.
