Cloud Solutions Engineer

Salary: Up to £55,000

** Remote position available for candidates located in the South of England**

We are collaborating with a reputable Microsoft Partner and Managed Service Provider (MSP) seeking to expand their Professional Services team by adding three new team members.

This organization provides tailored and innovative Microsoft Cloud and Infrastructure solutions to a wide array of clients.

Position Overview:

  • Engage in a variety of intricate and stimulating projects involving Azure, Microsoft 365, and general infrastructure, with the goal of delivering optimal solutions.
  • Responsible for building and deploying client projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to high standards. Flexibility is essential as project durations can vary from 5 to 50 days.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team alongside Cloud Solution Architects and Senior Cloud Engineers, benefiting from excellent mentorship opportunities.
  • Occasional travel to client locations for project execution, fostering strong relationships and identifying opportunities for additional product offerings aligned with our sales strategy.

Required Qualifications:

  • Technical Skills: Proficient understanding of Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware, and SAN/DAS storage solutions.
  • Azure Experience: Familiarity with deploying Azure IaaS services or Azure Virtual Desktop is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided if necessary.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a comparable technical role, ideally within an IT reseller context.
  • Certifications: Professional credentials such as AZ or MS series certifications related to Azure or Microsoft 365.
  • Personal Qualities: Strong problem-solving skills, commercial insight, excellent organizational abilities, and effective time management.
