About the Role
We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Specialists to join our team at South Park Primary School from 1st September 2024.
Job Summary
The successful candidates will work closely with teachers to provide support to students with SEND/intervention needs, promoting their learning and development in and out of the classroom.
Key Responsibilities
- To assist teachers in planning and delivering lessons for students with SEND/intervention needs.
- To support students with their learning, behaviour, and emotional well-being in a one-to-one or small group setting.
- To communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders about student progress and needs.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong understanding of SEND/intervention principles and practices.
- An ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
What We Offer
We offer a competitive salary of approximately £22,000 - £24,500 per annum (depending on experience), plus benefits and opportunities for professional development.
