Job Title: Loader Operative

We are seeking a skilled Loader Operative to join our team at Biffa Waste Services Limited. As a Loader Operative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient collection and removal of waste and recyclables from designated collection points.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect waste and recyclables from designated collection points and return containers as necessary.
  • Operate machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve collection targets.
  • Ensure all waste is loaded correctly and safely.
  • Assist the driver in reversing the vehicle and ensure safe maneuvering.
  • Adhere to health and safety procedures and ensure others do the same.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude.
Requirements:
  • Class 2 training and ability to operate machinery.
  • Basic knowledge of health and safety procedures.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Basic knowledge of waste management principles.
