Job Description

We are looking for a Feel Good Initiative Coordinator to join our Communities Team in Stowmarket, Suffolk. This is a full-time, fixed term or secondment opportunity for 2 years with a competitive salary of £36,124 - £42,708 per annum (pro rata for part time).

As a Feel Good Initiative Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing and leading a team while having strong knowledge of the local area and provision around health (including VCFSE and leisure organisations, and community provision). You will also travel across the Babergh and Mid Suffolk Council areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve health provision in the local area.
  • Manage and lead a team of professionals.
  • Build relationships with local stakeholders, including VCFSE and leisure organisations.

Salary: £36,124 - £42,708 per annum, pro rata for part time. Generous leave entitlement, competitive Local Government Pension Scheme, Wellbeing Support Programme, and Employee Assist Programme are also offered. The successful candidate will need a full drivers' license and access to a car.
