About the Role

The NIHR is seeking experienced Programme Managers to join its teams managing programmes of NIHR funding.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage programmes of NIHR funding and engage with external stakeholders to promote and develop research careers.
  • Develop good working relationships within and across teams and have a high level of interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Prioritise, schedule and manage the delivery of a complex, wide ranging, time-critical and unpredictable workload.

Requirements

  • Significant experience of working within an office environment.
  • Excellent organisational skills, including project management skills.
  • Advanced computer skills, particularly in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Working Arrangements

A hybrid-working arrangement is in place and the post holder will be welcome to work the larger percentage of their time from home.
