The Position:

This is an exciting opportunity for a Complex Needs Care Assistant / SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team and make a meaningful impact on the lives of children with complex needs. As a valued member of our team, you will be responsible for providing tailored support to facilitate their educational journey and enhance their overall well-being.

  • Assist pupils with personal care tasks, ensuring their comfort and dignity at all times.
  • Implement individualised learning and care plans, tailored to each pupil's specific needs and abilities.
  • Support non-verbal communication methods, such as using sign language, communication boards, and other assistive technologies.
  • Work closely with teachers to support pupils in classroom activities, ensuring they can engage and participate fully.
  • Manage and support positive behaviour in line with school policies, creating a safe and nurturing environment.
