EngineeringUK is seeking a talented Enterprise UX Design Leader to join our team in the UK. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the user experience of our commercial product and drive business growth.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced UX design leader who can define and deliver end-to-end user experiences that meet the needs of our diverse customer base. As Enterprise UX Design Leader, you will be responsible for leading large and small projects from start to finish, redefining complicated user experiences into simple and intuitive solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio demonstrating experience in design thinking methodologies and expertise across web, responsive and native apps. They will also have a passion for solving business and user problems while balancing all facets of a user experience, including strategy and research, information architecture, interaction design and accessibility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead on large and small projects from start to finish, redefining complicated user experiences into simple and intuitive solutions.
  • Own the end-to-end design process from understanding the problem space and prioritising opportunities, through to exploring potential solutions, prototyping and validating with users.
  • Champion human-centered design with stakeholders and the wider business, helping other disciplines understand the value design can bring to our products.
  • Work within and across Agile squads to design, develop and improve the user experience across our digital products.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years UX design experience.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating experience in design thinking methodologies and expertise across web, responsive and native apps.
  • Passion for solving business and user problems while balancing all facets of a user experience.
  • Detailed understanding of the end-to-end iterative design process including how to develop and use design research, journey mapping, wire-framing, prototyping, and user testing to achieve human-centered design solutions.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also receive a range of benefits, including annual bonus scheme, holiday starting at 25 days plus a personal day (plus Bank holidays), private medical insurance, 26 weeks maternity and adoption leave (after 1 years' service) at full pay, followed by 13 weeks of Statutory Maternity Pay or Statutory Adoption Pay, we also offer 6 weeks fully paid paternity leave, free 24/7 virtual GP service, Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) for you and your family, free access to a range of experts to support your mental wellbeing.
