Job Opportunity

Our esteemed client, ODIN RECRUITMENT GROUP LIMITED, is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to fill a critical role in their Cumbria, LA7 location.

The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday, with shift cover paid at up to double time.

As a mechanical maintenance engineer, the primary responsibilities include:

  • Performing day-to-day maintenance tasks and site repairs to ensure maximum productivity and performance.
  • Conducting mechanical fault finding and maintenance on a daily basis.
  • Participating in project work, including machine upgrades, modifications, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Driving a safe culture and eliminating safety risks.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A mechanical engineering background and be fully qualified.
  • Industrial/Manufacturing experience is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a helpful and flexible approach.
  • FMCG experience is preferred.
