Job Summary

Adecco UK Limited is seeking a motivated and experienced Automotive Inspection Operator to join their team in Oxford. This ongoing role offers varied working hours, including day and night shifts, with an immediate start.

About the Role

This position involves performing visual inspections of soft tops to ensure they meet quality standards. The successful candidate will record inspection data, manage reports using PC systems, repair soft tops using hand tools, assist with assembly of soft top components, and maintain a clean and safe work area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough visual inspections of soft tops to verify compliance with quality standards.
  • Document inspection results and manage reports effectively using computer systems.
  • Utilize hand tools such as rivet guns, screwdrivers, and hammers to repair soft tops.
  • Support the assembly of soft top components, ensuring correct assembly and high-quality standards.
  • Maintain a well-organized and safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Prior experience in assembly, quality inspection, or mechanical repairs.
  • Proficiency with hand tools for repairs and assembly.
  • Basic computer skills for data management.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality standards.
  • Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights.
