Lift Service Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lift Service Engineer to join our team. As a Lift Service Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing lifts across our portfolio of units.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out 100% of lift maintenance and service visits to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Respond promptly to lift breakdowns and aim to achieve first-time fixes.
  • Resolve long-standing lift faults and maintain contractual KPIs through the reduction of lift breakdowns.
  • Perform minor lift repairs to ensure continuous operation.
  • Liaise directly with customers on site and build strong working relationships.
Requirements:
  • Qualified to at least NVQ Level 3, J-Module, or equivalent.
  • In-depth knowledge of various lift makes and types, including dock-levellers, goods and platform lifts, scissor lifts, and hydraulics.
  • Ability to apply lift engineering principles to maintenance and fault diagnosis.
