About the Role:


As a dedicated Autism and SEN Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting non-verbal students with autism spectrum disorder. This position involves working closely with a small, specialized ARP class to provide individualized support and develop tailored learning plans.


Your Key Responsibilities:



  • Provide personal care, behavior support, and engage in sensory activities to create a safe and enjoyable learning environment.
  • Collaborate with SEN teachers, speech therapists, and occupational therapists to deliver a comprehensive approach that supports each child's progress.
  • Develop and implement individualized learning strategies to cater to the unique needs of non-verbal children with ASD.

Requirements:


We are looking for a compassionate, resilient, and enthusiastic individual with experience working with non-verbal children with ASD. A genuine understanding of autism and the unique challenges it presents is essential. Formal qualifications are beneficial, though hands-on experience is highly valued.
