Job Title: Supplier Relationship Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supplier Relationship Manager to join our team at Hastings Direct. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our suppliers, ensuring that our business needs are met while driving value and efficiency in our supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers to drive business growth and improve supply chain performance
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business needs and develop effective procurement strategies
  • Manage and negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure best value and compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Monitor and report on supplier performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication with suppliers
Requirements:
  • Significant experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in a regulated industry
  • Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and prioritize business needs
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
