Your Opportunity:

Description:

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Alberta Health Services. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care, health promotion, and maintenance. You will work collaboratively with patients, families, and communities to ensure their safety and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide nursing services to patients, families, and communities
  • Utilize nursing processes, critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making to deliver safe and quality patient care
  • Teach, counsel, and advocate on behalf of patients and their families
  • Support an integrated and holistic approach to patient care, health promotion, and maintenance

Requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited nursing education program
  • Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA)
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP)
  • Completion of the CRNA Medication Management - Chapters and the NextGenU Health Assessment Resources Certification (if not practiced as a Registered Nurse within the last five years)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ACLS
  • Perioperative course
