Your Opportunity:
Description:
As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and promoting health and well-being in our communities. You will utilize your critical thinking and problem-solving skills to provide safe and effective care, while also teaching, counseling, and advocating on behalf of patients and their families. In this role, you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to support an integrated and holistic approach to patient care, health promotion, and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of patients
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
Required Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited nursing education program
- Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA)
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a similar role or setting
- Advanced certifications or specialized training in areas such as critical care or pediatrics
